Have you ever felt like everything you do isn't good enough for your parents? ... Well this is how i have felt for the last few weeks. First i tell my mom a few weeks ago that i would really like to try out for color guard. i thought she would be excited cause usually I'm not the type of person that would do something like that. well she told me that i shouldn't even try cause i wont make it. then i bring home my report card i had one "c" and the rest were "a" and "b" and my mom tells me that I'm stupid and will definitely not make the team. and my dad just sit there agreeing with her the whole time (grrrr) . I'm usually lucky to pass all my classes cause i have a really hard time in school .. and i pass all my classes and all my mom and dad have to tell me is that I'm stupid.. y do i even try anymore.. oh and to make it worse my parents are always fighting i feel like I'm always having to pick sides .. which just makes it worse.. oh and while all this is going on my brother fails all his classes and my mom is just like oh try harder maybe next time you will get better grades .. what the heck is up with that.. and i have a lot stuff that has happened to me when i was younger and my parents just act like it never happened .. well it did and i dint know how to tell them that i can still remember everything that happened to me on that horrible day .. if I do tell them they wont even care .. it seem that i cant do anything right .. oh and then today i get home from school .. i was really happy and i walk in the front door and my mom was stranding there .. then she started yelling at me i dint even know why .. i know this is bad but i told her to shut up and went in my room and slammed the door.. sometimes i wish i could k.i.l.l my self just to get away from all of this .. some of the stuff is so bad i cant even tell you guys this isn't eve half the stuff my mom does to me ... and my mom just walked in my room so i better stop typing before she starts to read this .. Amber hehe .. i no longer feel like this.. i dont know what got into me

I know it can be hard sometimes- but YOU CAN DO IT! If they criticize you for somethin- don't let it get to you. KNOW that you are a daughter of god, and YOU ARE IMPORTANT. It IS good enough. Sometimes it may be hard to see- but as long as you try your best, it IS the best. This is just a trial you have been given, so LET IT MAKE YOU STRONGER! I KNOW you are strong, you've been able to handle it this long. Keep it up, hun! You can do it!

I know that we can't or shouldn't share some aspects of our lives with just anyone, because they will betray our trust and hurt our feelings. It is nice if you have a good friend that you can confide in, but one beauty of a site like this is the fact that you can ask for help or advice and not have to worry about it getting back to gossipy school mates. I hope that I've been of some help! Jenni
